ATELIER XI Wins MERIT AWARD in LUXES' Island Public Seating Competition
一树建筑荣获麓湖公共座椅竞赛“新浪潮”单元入围奖
The competition site is located at LUXES' Island. Under the theme of "Nouvelle Vague", designers are expected to cross over into film expression or sound-related interaction. Principle Judges include architect Zhuang Shen, Yu Ting and Lyla Wu.
本次设计竞赛基地所在麓客岛位于麓湖生态城的湖心区域, 分三个地块单元。其中主题一地块需要设计师根据“新浪潮”这一主题，设计可跨界至电影表达或与音乐/声音相关的互动。本次竞赛评委为建筑师庄慎、俞挺和吴迪。
ATELIER XI’s design proposal extract the young Antoine's perspective and experience from the New Wave director Truffaut’s autobiographical film, “Les Quatre Cents Coups”(The 400 Blows), and translate it into a series of spatial fragments that constitute the landscape of seating installation for LUXES’ Island.
In the form of abstract concrete structures, a series of classic scenes will be reimagined at LUXES’ Island: the frequent to-and-fro camera shots shifting between the facing characters, the wandering and long gazes on both sides of the iron bars, the circular playground with its spinning, free dizziness, and in the last long shot, the relievingly long run towards the sea.
Telling a tale througha concrete space inhabited by water, light and shadow, we hope to reconstruct the emotional moments of hope, struggle, lingering and release from the perspective of the juvenile.
一树建筑团队抽取新浪潮导演特吕弗自传性电影《四百击》(Les Quatre Cents Coups)中少年安东尼的视角与体验，转译成为一系列空间片段，构成了此处景观座椅装置。
电影史上经典的一系列场景将以抽象的混凝土构筑物的方式呈现在麓湖:对视人物之间镜头的不断跳接、铁窗内外的游移与凝望，圆形游乐场离心式的自由晕眩，以及最后一个长镜头中持续奔向海边的释放。
在这个流水与光影栖息的清水混凝土构筑的空间中，希望以少年的视角，承载希望、挣扎、流连与释放的情感瞬间。
